TaeKwonDo Classes at ATC are less about your child learning to fight others and more about fighting herself/himself and their fears. Conquering theses fears and negative issues will assist your child unleash a power that gives him/her the strength to strike down the doors of his/her own self doubt and create a stronger confident person. In other words, when your child uses the discipline of TaeKwonDo to conquer his/her fears, they then develop the power to convey that discipline to all other areas of his/her life. I know of no other sport that does this than the art of TaeKwonDo.

My son has been at this school for 2 years and he loves the classes and his focus and confidence has improved tremendously. His improvements academically from a 2.3GPA to a 3.5GPA have me and his teacher excited. Also his behavior at home has improve so much that I am thrilled and I can honestly say that In the beginning I thought it was a little pricey but now I can see it is not the benefits are worth way more than what I pay for classes. I have several friends that pay double at other TaeKwonDo schools and their children have not improved. If have seen some parents that don't understand the benefits and get upset, but like anything good it takes discipline and time. The thing I like the most is the instructors will not permit children to test if their grades are bad, sure my son is worried when he hears the master says if you don't have a 3.0GPA or higher and if you cant remember your forms then you can not test for black belt. If you are looking for a good TaeKwonDo school that will improve, discipline, confidence, school grades and give your child the edge in life then this is the TaeKwonDo School for you.

I visited many schools before I decided on ATC. The price is fair and the instruction is great. As for extra fees and testing fees my child receives a new award, breaking materials, belt and certificate at every belt testing and I feel it is worth the price.
When the instructor feels a student is not ready they dont test for the next belt, I know since my son was held back for 3 months and I was not pressured to have him test. Bottom line my son has improved his attitude and school grades and is learning to defend himself better than his last academy.I feel you get what you pay for and ATC is worth every penny.

American Tae Kwon Do Centers are excellent schools for men, women and children to learn, grow and become strong individuals. The prices are reasonable and the teaching is superb. These schools are top notch schools for anyone who is serious about martial arts. Learn discipline, strength (inner and outer), flexibility, self- defense, confidence, get in shape and have fun while doing so. Great programs for children as well, where education is a top priority. When I first walked in my goal was only to lose weight. And five months later I lost 30 pounds, my wife and kids are also training, and my kids grades went up too which made us all very happy , besides TaeKwonDo we learn discipline and self confidence plus we get to have a good time together. I took my 3 year old son and my 5 year old daughter to the little lions program at ATC in Aliso Viejo I have never seen my kids have so much fun, and my shy daughter has come out of her shell. My wife and I have been with ATC for over (5) years now beginning with our (7) year old son. Prior to joining this wonderful and professional organization, we research all Martial Art studios in our area and then some. We found ATC to be the most reputable and one of the most competitively priced out there, however price was not the most important to us, nor should it be for anyone seeking training in Martial Arts. Their knowledge, professionalism and reputation is second to none in the industry. As a matter of fact , most of the other Studios we visited new of ATC and spoke very highly of them and Master Spillmann. We found one other studio which exceeded our expectations in Orange County, prior to joining Master Spillmann. To our dismay, this organization was also owned and managed by ATC. We are very happy to be apart of this large family and our children have been taught and study Martial Arts, Values, Respect , and Self Respect every session. Their school teachers have told me they are the most confident and respectful kids in their classroom. I owe a huge thanks to Master Spillmann and many of the professional and very well known instructors who have joined this organization. For those who want to be the best they can be , you can spend allot of time researching with no guaranty , or you can go to ATC.
